VINYL
Vinyl is a versatile flooring option that can look like authentic slate, stone or harwood. It can be installed in sheet or tile format. It is very durable. What was once a very common floor in kitchens, has now made its way into other areas of households and offices because of the updated luxury looks that can be attained.
HARDWOOD
When it comes to hardwood floors, there are two types; solid harwood and engineered hardwood.
Solid harwood is just that, it's solid wood. Each board of solid hardwood flooring is made from a single piece of hardwood that’s about 3/4 of an inch thick. Because it’s so thick it can be sanded down and refinished for however long the flooring is in the house.
Engineered hardwood is made of layers of wood, bonded together with adhesives under intense heat and pressure.
LAMINATE
Laminate is a multi-layer synethic flooring product. Laminate floors are designed to resemble a variety of materials, such as hardwood, stone and tile. Unlike solid hardwood or engineered hardwood, laminate flooring is rarely comprised of any wood. Instead, it consists of melamine and fibreboard, which makes it extremely durable. Thicker laminates also generally indicate a more durable, comfortable product.
CARPET
Warm, cozy...that's carpet. Still a favourite for bedrooms, and very much used in tile format in offices, airports and hotels, carpet provides the warmth, softness and durability like no other. Whether for the home or office, carpet can provide durability in high traffic areas and has a wide variety of colours, patterns and thicknesses from which to choose.
